Kuveyt Türk, one of Turkey’s leading participation finance institutions, is supporting an important project that will contribute to the education of gifted children, in line with its approach centered on social benefit. The “We Are Aware of Talent with the Discovery Route” project, implemented in cooperation with the Turkish Foundation for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children (TÜZDEV), the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services, and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, is being launched under the sponsorship of Kuveyt Türk.
“We Are Aware of Talent with the Discovery Route” aims to strengthen the competencies of teachers, who play a critical role in the development of gifted children, and to introduce up-to-date approaches into educational processes. In this respect, the project lays the groundwork for an educational environment that can recognize children’s potential at an early age and guide them appropriately.
Target of Reaching 100,000 Parents
Within the scope of the project, a comprehensive Train-the-Trainer Program will be implemented for teachers working at Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM). In the first phase, teachers will participate in a one-week intensive camp program. In the second phase, the teachers who receive this training will provide training to other teachers at the Science and Art Centers where they work, ensuring the dissemination of knowledge and experience. In the continuation of the process, seminars for parents will be organized to increase family awareness. The project offers a widespread and sustainable impact model aiming to reach 100,000 parents across the country.
