Applications in two separate categories, General and FinTech may be submitted till 8 March 2019 at www.loncagirisim.com. 10 new startups which will receive training and mentoring support for six months will enjoy priviligies such as multisite incubation service, grants in an amount up to 40 thousand TL and R&D support.
Established by Kuveyt Türk, the leading participation bank of Türkiye, the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center started to accept the applications for its fourth term. Applications will be accepted between Monday, 18 February 2019 and 8 March 2019. Aiming to support 10 new entrepreneurs during the fourth term, the Guild Entrepreneurs Center will accept applications online at www.loncagirisim.com Receiving hundreds of applications at the center, the selection members will consider a number of criteria such as the size of target market of the project, having income or benefit model. Entrepreneurs are showing a great interest in the fourth term.
As part of the project, the startups shall receive training, project-based mentoring and multisite incubation services. Launched in cooperation with Workinton, the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center offers the entrepreneurs with suitable working environment owned by Workinton in 15 different locations in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Bursa. Among the privileges offered by Guild Entrepreneurs Center are grants in an amount up to 40 thousand TL, R&D support for the entrepreneurs developing devices, API support for FinTechs and support for all entrepreneurs to represent Türkiye in international contests and participation in overseas events. Moreover, Guild entrepreneurs shall become prioritized in filing applications to Teknogirişim Venture Capital Investment Fund established with cooperation of Kuveyt Türk and Vakif Katılım in order to invest in startups.

Having graduated 17 entrepreneurs during the first two terms, the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center contiunes its third term training sessions with 11 teams. Stating that the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center is turning into a brand name that is liked and supported ever by the ecosystem, xxx, the YYYY at Kuveyt Türk, said, “We make effort to widen and deepen our communication network for the benefit of our entrepreneurs. As from the third term, we offer grants up to 40 thousand TL evaluating the performance of each startup. On the other hand, we intend to help those entrepreneurs who are ready to open abroad participate in overseas fairs and events. We will continue to offer privileges to the entrepreneurs also during the fourth term for which we accept applications for the time being.”
Applications are received in two categories
Put into service in 2017 by Kuveyt Türk in cooperation with Workinton in order to support and enhance the techno-innovative ideas and earn them into country’s economy, the Guild Entrepreneurs Center started to accept the applications in two categories including general and FinTech. Entrepreneurs in general category may apply for their projects on software, information security, robotics, big data, internet of things (IoT), mobile apps, machine learning, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), game development or image processing. FinTech category involves the financial technology projects such as payment systems, blockchain, digital wallet, API banking, individual financial management tools, crowd funding.
