Kuveyt Türk, one of Türkiye's leading participation finance institutions, continues to expand its Entrepreneur Explorer First Idea education program, which aims to foster entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills among children from an early age. As part of the program, the first Teacher Academy training for teachers was organized in Samsun.
The Teacher Academy was launched to strengthen the impact of the Entrepreneur Explorer program in the field by increasing teachers' awareness of entrepreneurship, creative thinking, problem solving, and financial literacy. Through the program, teachers are encouraged to integrate an entrepreneurial mindset more effectively into classroom learning.
Promoting an Entrepreneurial Culture Through Teachers
As part of Kuveyt Türk's social impact approach, the training sessions provided teachers with practical content covering innovative thinking, project development, teamwork, an entrepreneurial mindset, and financial literacy.
The program offered more than theoretical knowledge. Teachers were also introduced to practical methods for supporting students' idea development, classroom implementation examples, and experience based learning models.
A Development Journey Extending from Children to Teachers
Since its launch in 2023, the Entrepreneur Explorer program has introduced tens of thousands of students across Türkiye to the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through the First Idea training sessions held in 17 provinces, the program has reached thousands of students and has now been expanded to include teachers. Through the Teacher Academy, Kuveyt Türk aims to extend the culture of entrepreneurship beyond students by enabling educators to create a broader and more lasting impact.
Supporting the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem from an Early Age
Launched by Kuveyt Türk in 2022 as Türkiye's first online entrepreneurship education platform, Entrepreneur Explorer provides training not only through its online platform but also through entrepreneurship workshops and financial literacy programs delivered in schools. The program aims to encourage children to develop the confidence to generate ideas, strengthen their project based thinking skills, and introduce them to the entrepreneurship ecosystem at an early age. As part of the program, children receive training in entrepreneurship, technology, financial literacy, and problem solving, while teachers become an integral part of this development journey.
