Extending its social contribution approach from culture and arts to entrepreneurship into the field of sports, Kuveyt Türk has become the Main Sponsor of the Turkish Men’s National Volleyball Teams. The details of the sponsorship agreement between Kuveyt Türk and the Turkish Volleyball Federation were announced to the public during a press conference held at the TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall.
The launch event was attended by Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, Kuveyt Türk General Manager Ufuk Uyan, Turkish Men’s National Volleyball Team player Adis Lagumdzija, TVF Board Member and Press Spokesperson Mustafa Alpaslan, TVF Supervisory Board Member Umut Bağlı, and Corporate Communications and Marketing Director Sezgin Eren.
Within the scope of the cooperation, which will continue for three years, Kuveyt Türk will support the development of Turkish volleyball and the success journey of national athletes as the main sponsor of the Turkish Men’s National Volleyball Team, known as the “Filenin Efeleri” (Sultans of the Net).
Speaking at the press conference, Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ stated that Turkish volleyball has gained significant momentum in recent years and said:
“Through the achievements attained in recent years, Turkish volleyball has become a strong brand both domestically and internationally. Last year, our Men’s National Team delivered a successful performance at the World Championship and finished sixth in the world. In order to further increase and sustain this success, long-term collaborations that provide support to our athletes, clubs, and national teams are of great importance. We regard this valuable cooperation with Kuveyt Türk not merely as a sponsorship, but also as a significant indication of confidence in the future of Turkish volleyball. During this process, the contributions of institutions that support the discipline of sports, team spirit, and its positive impact on young people are extremely valuable for us. Kuveyt Türk General Manager Ufuk Uyan stated:

Turkish Men’s National Volleyball Team player Adis Lagumdzija emphasized the importance of such support for the development of the national team and stated:
