One of the leading finance institutions of Türkiye, Kuveyt Türk and its subsidiary KT Bank AG were rewarded at World’s Best Banks Award held by Global Finance, one of the most prestigious economy and finance periodicals of the world with presence in 163 countries While Kuveyt Türk was honored with the award of “Best Islamic Financial Institution of Türkiye”, its 100-percent subsidiary KT Bank AG based in Germany was selected the “Best Islamic Financial Institution of Europe”. Kuveyt Türk and KT Bank AG achieved a remarkable success by being granted the same category awards in two years in a row. 
 
Two awards have been presented at the same time to Kuveyt Türk and its overseas subsidiary KT Bank AG at World’s Best Banks Award held by New York-based Global Finance, one of the most prestigious economy and finance periodicals of the world with presence in 163 countries. While Kuveyt Türk has received the award of “Best Islamic Financial Institution of Türkiye”, its 100-percent subsidiary KT Bank AG operating in Germany was selected the “Best Islamic Financial Institution of Europe”. Kuveyt Türk and KT Bank AG, which had received the same awards at the ceremony held by Global Finance last year, succeeded in being on the list of the best two years in a row.

World’s Best Banks Awards ceremony was held in Washington, October 19, 2019 as part of IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings. Ufuk Uyan, Chief Executive Officer of Kuveyt Türk who attended the ceremony on behalf of Kuveyt Turk and its subsidiary KT Bank AG, stated that they had the pleasure of receiving one of the most prestigious awards in the world for two years in a row and said, “We continue our efforts to support the real economy and sustainability of business activities with the products and services we develop. While we reach our customers through our 424 branches all over the country, we have also increased the number of customers in digital to over one million.
