With the new era, entrepreneurs will now be able to submit their applications to Lonca Incubation program throughout the year. Lonca, which moved its new office to Istanbul Mecidiyeköy, will support startups with grants of up to 100,000 Turkish Liras in the eighth period.
In order to reveal and support innovative ideas, applications for the eighth term were started to be received at Lonca Entrepreneurship Centre established by Kuveyt Türk in 2017. In the new era incubation program, Lonca Entrepreneurship Centre will support about 10 new startups. Applications for the eighth term will continue until 1 September 2022.
With the new term, Lonca Entrepreneurship Centre will be open to applications throughout the year. The attempts to be accepted into the program will be determined again after the jury evaluation. Lonca, which is open to all startups regardless of the sector, will continue to prioritize financial technology-oriented startups.
Lonca moved to new office
With its new cycle, Lonca will carry out its activities in its new office in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul, which is designed to meet all the needs of entrepreneurs. Initiatives admitted to the incubation program will benefit from comprehensive and diverse support in this centre, lasting approximately 6 months. In addition to the intensive training program, entrepreneurs will be offered opportunities such as mentoring, marketing support, cloud service and special API support. Startups that successfully complete the incubation program will have the opportunity to appear on Lonca Demoday stage. Teams whose products reach a certain stage and are in search of investment will be evaluated positively in terms of receiving investment from Lonca GNP established by Kuveyt Türk.
Cash grant support of up to 100 thousand TRY
In the eighth cycle, standard grant support will be increased to 80 thousand TRY, while extra 20 thousand TRY R&D support will be provided to startups that develop devices. In order for entrepreneurs to benefit from grant support, firstly, they will be admitted to the incubation program and then they will be required to show the expected focus and development throughout the program.
