As Türkiye’s leading participation finance institution, Kuveyt Türk has embarked on a comprehensive development journey to carry its corporate culture into the future, drawing strength from its deep-rooted heritage. The project, implemented under the name “To the Future with Culture,” is based on an employee value proposition approach and aims to align the institution’s people-oriented and value-based stance with the expectations of today’s working life. Initiated under the leadership of General Manager Ufuk Uyan, the project was shaped through senior management interviews, workshops, surveys, and wide-ranging participatory sessions. The cultural principles defined through collective wisdom have been communicated to all employees via the prepared Culture Guide and Agenda, while field meetings, training sessions, and mentoring programs will ensure that these values are translated into behavior.
“Our goal is to make our values more tangible at every level of the organization”
Semih Sel, Kuveyt Türk Executive Vice President responsible for Human Resources and Strategy, made the following remarks about the project: “Since the day we were founded, we at Kuveyt Türk have regarded corporate culture not only as part of the way we do business, but as one of the fundamental elements of our identity, our stance, and the path we walk together. The ‘To the Future with Culture’ project was launched with the aim of preserving this solid foundation, making our cultural values more visible, and enriching them in line with today’s needs. Our goal is not to change our values, but to make them more tangible at every level of the organization and to create a foundation that will carry our shared principles from words to actions. This process is a cultural journey shaped by the contributions of all our colleagues and strengthened by sincerity, common sense, and a spirit of unity. Our culture enables us to understand the present and build the future with confidence, supported by the strong values we carry from the past. This journey will strengthen our corporate identity, reinforce our sense of unity, and further deepen our culture of achieving success together.”
Culture Guide and Agenda prepared
Within the scope of the project, a Culture Guide and Culture Agenda were prepared, offering concrete examples of how values should be reflected in business life. These materials, distributed to all employees throughout 2025, aim to establish a common language in daily work practices.
Culture meetings and training program organized
Between September and December 2025, meetings were held in nine cities, from Ankara to Diyarbakır, where senior management and project teams came together with employees in the field. Interactive sessions were organized to discuss how values are reflected in everyday work. Supported by Kuveyt Türk Academy, these meetings were also designed as part of a structured development program.
Culture Mentors and Sub-Projects
Volunteer Culture Mentors were appointed across the organization and included in the project through special training programs. In addition, more than 20 action areas were identified, ranging from meeting management to customer experience, and from human resources processes to product development models; 13 of these initiatives will be implemented in the short term.
